Buying New Construction? Upgrades and Features to Include.

If you are wanting to buy a new construction home, these are features and upgrades that you definitely should consider and make if your situation allows.

1) Opting for the main floor full bath instead of the common basic half bath on the main floor. Make sure it's a full bath with the shower. This is something that is very sought-after for homebuyers, something that is also not that common because it is an upgrade and so it makes your home stand out even more. There are a lot of buyers interested in that feature and these others as well.

2) Having a main floor office or bedroom, ideally close to, or adjacent to, the main floor full bath.

3) Rough-in plumbing. It is much more expensive to do it after construction, and it allows you to have a bath in the basement if you desire.

4) Whether you have one car, two cars, or three cars, sellers never seem to regret any of these upgrades and never regret, in our weather, having a third car garage.
